Welcome to SideGuide ("the App"), an iOS travel-guide app provided by Phantom Labs ("we," "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the App. By downloading, installing, or using SideGuide, you agree to these Terms.
SideGuide Pro subscription. A monthly auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited queries, voice input, mini-guides, and grants access to one included city of your choice (your "Included City"). The Included City is selected during onboarding and cannot be changed once chosen.
City packs. Additional cities beyond the Included City are sold as one-time, non-consumable in-app purchases. Once purchased, a city pack remains accessible on devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
Billing. All purchases are made through Apple. The price shown on the paywall reflects your local App Store currency. Payments are charged to your Apple ID, and your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple under their applicable refund policy.
Included City after cancellation. Access to your Included City is tied to an active SideGuide Pro subscription. If your subscription expires, your Included City becomes inaccessible unless you separately purchase that city as a city pack. Standalone city pack purchases are not affected by subscription status.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use SideGuide on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

The places, recommendations, and "takes" inside SideGuide are written for general guidance and entertainment. Hours, prices, addresses, and similar details change over time. We do our best to keep the content current, but we don't guarantee that any specific detail is up to date or accurate at the time you use it. Always verify time-sensitive information (reservations, opening hours, ticket prices) directly with the venue before relying on it.
The opinions expressed in the App are editorial and do not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, financial, safety, or otherwise). Use your own judgment when traveling.
SideGuide ships with images licensed from Wikimedia Commons, Creative Commons-licensed Flickr, and other licensed sources. Attribution for each image is provided in-app at Settings → About → Image credits. Many images are licensed under CC-BY or CC-BY-SA terms; if you reproduce an image elsewhere, you must respect the original license, which is linked from the credits screen.
SideGuide does not currently support user-generated content (public reviews, photos, etc.). If you save places privately in the App, those entries remain on your device and are not shared.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes what information SideGuide processes on your device and how Apple handles purchase data on our behalf.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice. We may release new versions through the App Store; you may be required to update to a current version to keep using SideGuide. Subscription pricing may change in the future, with any change communicated before it takes effect.
THE APP AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE APP IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PHANTOM LABS, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
These Terms are between you and Phantom Labs — not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of conflict between these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service, the Apple Terms govern as to App Store matters. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
